I understand my vulnerabilities.

My life brings contentment, joy, and adventure. Yet, each day, something occurs that causes me to feel a little hesitant. In order to build confidence and live a positive life, I acknowledge my vulnerabilities.

Being in a position where my emotions may be exposed or I might get hurt in some way is a part of life. I embrace such feelings and try to make sense of them.

I carefully process each situation that triggers feelings of vulnerability. I ask myself where I was, who I was with, and what I was doing when the uneasy feelings came over me.

Determining the source of my vulnerable feelings ensures I develop a better understanding of unpleasant emotions.

As I acknowledge my vulnerabilities, I can move forward with my day. When I tell myself, “This, too, shall pass,” I feel those feelings fading away.

I have developed a clear idea of what triggers my feelings of vulnerability. My ability to increase my self-awareness regarding my emotions increases each day.

Today, I take a moment to think through any vulnerable feelings I experience. I want to know what causes them so I can deflect any negativity. I have the power to do whatever is necessary to be happy today. I make an effort to know myself better by acknowledging my vulnerabilities.
